Continuous Monuments

Two vertical markers emerge from the landscape; stewards of the continuous city to which they belong. They are in dialogue with one another, yet their differences are compelling; one rough and weathered with fragments of a pattern, the other polished and consistently porous. Their shadows cast in the day, and light emitted at night further a narrative of time, speaking of a rich history of the past, and a compelling future that is unfolding in the city.
