/Livestreams seeks to explore emerging communication interfaces by inverting typical spatial relationships between viewer and moving image. 

In this installation for the Halifax festival Nocturne, a free public art event, live video feeds are projected in microcinema booths, creating a network hub. Leaning back and looking towards the sky one experiences another place in the city on a translucent screen.  Above the cluster, a suspended camera looks down and captures all three projected live video feeds at once, displaying them in an aerial composition for an interactive website. /Livestreams investigates the interplay between live video feeds and architecture in the public realm, enabling access to Nova Scotia based artists, of all disciplines, through generating both local and global access.
